AT NC STATE: Attended North Carolina State University for his freshman year of college... Played in a total of 19 games for the Wolfpack throughout the season... Registered a season high of eight points in the season opener versus UNC Asheville on 11/11/11... Gained a season high three assists and four points versus Morehead State on 11/13/11... Scored seven points and got a season high of six rebounds against Vanderbilt on 11/19/11... Put up three points and one rebound in the win over Delaware State on 1/4/12... Contributed three rebounds against Kansas in the NCAA tournament on 3/23/12... HIGH SCHOOL: Attended St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, N.J. for his senior season... Rated a four-star ESPN Recruit and was ranked theNo. 20 power forward...As a senior averaged 19.7 ppg and 9.8 rpg... Earned team MVP honors his senior season... Registered one of his top performances in 2011 versus St. Patrick's Michael Gilchrist when he scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and was named MVP of the Showcase Game.... Scored 25 points against St. Raymond's in 2011...Prior to his senior year, Harris attended Half Hallow Hills High in his hometown Dix Hills, N.Y. averaged 14.7 ppg, 3.2 apg, 0.9 bpg, 5.9 rpg, and 1.4 spg... While at Half Hallow Hills Harris, played alongside his brother Tobias Harris, former Tennessee star and current Milwaukee Bucks forward, and led their team to a 25-1 mark and a spot in the NY State Class AA championship game in 2009...Earned All-League and All-Suffolk County honors in 2009...
