PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Junior John Fatigati (Mahwah, N.J.) earned BIG EAST Male Weekly Honors after his performance at the Harold Anderson Invitational at the University of Rhode Island on Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23. At the two day event, Fatigati won all three of his individual events, along with assisting in the first place win of two relay events. He took first in the 200y IM (1:57.36), the 400y IM (4:11.37) and the 200y butterfly (1:58.57). The first place relays that he participated in were the 400y medley relay and the 200y freestyle relay. His contributions helped Providence finish second of five teams. Fatigati has won 14 of his 18 individual events this fall and is the team's leading scorer.
The Friars will return to the pool when they travel to Brown University to compete on Saturday, Jan. 4 at noon.
