The Providence College swimming & diving teams completed their weekend in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, October 25 when they took on Georgetown University and George Washington University. The Friar men dropped to GU, 210-82, and GWU, 187-99. The women fell to GU, 216-81, and GWU, 196-87.

Sophomore diver James Cebulski (Trumbull, Conn.) continued his success from Friday into Saturday's meets, earning a first-place finish in the 1-meter diving event with 187.10 points.  Junior Mathew Card (Bow, N.H.) also had a standout weekend, earning the Friars only first-place individual swim finish on the day.  Card won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 48.71.

The Friars return to action on Saturday, November 1 when they travel to Fairfield, Conn. to take on Fairfield University.  The meet is set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
