Final Team Scores 
INDIANAPOLIS, IND.–The Providence College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams concluded competition at the BIG EAST Championships, hosted by IUPUI, in Indianapolis, Ind.
On the women’s side, senior Sam Schlich (Massepequa, N.Y.) placed 28th in the 100y freestyle, finishing in 52.43. Sophomores Kelly O’Neill (Rye, N.Y.), Leia Federiconi (Williamsville, N.Y.) each turned in top times for the Friars. O’Neill finished 27th in the 200y backstroke (2:07.42), while Federiconi finished in 22nd place in the 200y breaststroke, timing in at 2:26.58. Senior Eileen Colliton (Bloomfield, Conn.) tok 29th in the 1650y freestyle, finishing the race in 18:04.97. Schlich, senior Erin Nanna (Westwood, Mass.), freshman Reilly O’Connell (West Barnstable, Mass.) and junior Jillian Mullany (Monroe, Conn.) finished the 400y freestyle relay in 3:32.36. The women’s team finished in 10th place collecting 74 points.
For the men, sophomore John Fatigati (Mahwah, N.J.) finished 28th in the 200y backstroke, finishing in 1:55.25, while classmate Justin Tse (Framingham, Mass.) placed 31st in the 100y freestyle, finishing in 48.09. Sophomore Daniel Murphy (Cos Cob, Conn.) rounded out the top finishes for the sophomores, placing 23rd in the 200y butterfly (2:11.29). Senior Chris Morales (Ridgewood, N.J.) led the Friars in the 200y butterfly, placing 23rd overall with a time of 1:58.18. Junior Connor Lui (Monroe, Conn.), Tse, sophomore James Butler (Medfield, Mass.) and senior Eric Burtchell (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished the 400y freestyle relay in 3:10.19. The men’s team collected 97 points for a ninth-place finish.
The men’s and women’s diving teams will compete in the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships, Friday, Mar. 15 through Sunday, Mar. 17. The Zone A Diving Championships will be hosted by Virginia Tech in the Christiansburg Aquatics Center in Christiansburg, Virginia.
