The men’s team takes first place, while Katie Fallon sets three school records.
The Friars’ men and women both lose to Bryant, 163-94 and 151-111.
Men’s and women’s teams both placed second overall and NECI.
As a Junior: Studied abroad during the fall semester…Placed second in the 50scm freestyle (28.20) and was a member of the 400 freestyle relay that placed second against Holy Cross on January 21 …Was a member of the third place 200 yard medley relay and placed sixth in the 50 yard freestyle (26.14) on January 28 against Maine… Placed first in the 50 scm frestyle(28.20) against Georgetown on February 12… Qualified for the BIG EAST Championships (February 22-25) in the 50 and 100 freestyles (25.24, 56.62), 100 backstroke (1:03.65), and was a member of the 200 freestyle relay that placed 6 in Big East finals.
Before Providence: Earned four varsity letters in swimming, four in soccer, and four in tennis at the Pingree School ... Captained tennis her junior year and all three teams her senior year ... Earned All-League status all four years as a swimmer ... Set three individual records in high school in the 50y freestyle, 100y freestyle, 100y backstroke ... Helped set three relay records in high school in the 200y freestyle relay, the 200y medley relay and the 400y freestyle relay ...
