Lauren Millette Named Cheerleading Coach

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced this week that Providence College named Lauren Millette Head Coach of its cheerleading squad. Millette joins the Friars after spending the last eight seasons with Boston College as Head Coach of the cheerleading, pom squad, and mascot team.

During her time at Boston College, Millette choreographed and coordinated team performances and game day timeouts. Millette started Boston College's Pom Squad, the official dance team of BC Athletics. Additionally, Millette led Boston College to a 9th place finish at NCA National Competition and the Grand Champion title at ECDA College Beach Bash Nationals. Before coaching at Boston College, Millette spent three years coaching at Brandeis University.

Millette cheered and danced at Syracuse University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Kinesiology. She resides in Marion, Mass. with her husband Chris and their two daughters.
