Jaime Lipski Selected To Attend Junior National Camp
Providence College junior field hockey player Jaime Lipski (Dallas, Pa.) was selected to attend Junior National Camp. The announcement was made by USA Field Hockey on June 30. Lipski will vie for a roster spot on the U.S. Under-21 Junior National Team that will compete in the Junior World Cup in Boston, Mass. from August 3-16, 2009.

Men' s Hockey Player Alex Velischek Selected In NHL Draft
Providence College freshman defenseman Alex Velischek (Kinnelon, N.J.) was selected in the 2009 NHL Draft which took place on June 26-27 in Montreal. Velischek was drafted in the fifth round (123rd overall) by the Stanley Cup Champions, Pittsburgh Penguins.
