2009 Student-Athlete Career Night Sponsored by Yvette Boisclair '84 and Mark Mandell.

On Tuesday, October 27, 2009 Providence College Athletics held its Second Annual Student-Athlete Career Night. The event was sponsored by Providence College alumna Yvette Boisclair '84 and her husband, Mark Mandell.

More than 25 alumni and friends of Providence College returned to give career advice to more than 90 junior and senior student-athletes who attended the event which was held in '64 Hall on the campus of Providence College.

A few notable Providence College alumni and friends who were in attendance included: John Marinatto '79, Commissioner of the BIG EAST Conference, Mike Tamburro, President of the Pawtucket Red Sox, The Honorable William Carnes, Associate Justice in Rhode Island Superior Court, The Honorable Frank Darigan Jr. '64, Associate Justice in Rhode Island Superior Court, Patrick Canning '81, Managing Partner at KPMG, Connie Richer '81, Senior Sales Engineer at Verizon and Karen Lyons `80, Special Assistant, Attorney General in the State of RI.

Providence College Athletics would like to thank all of the alumni and friends who returned for this memorable event. We would especially like to thank Yvette Boisclair and Mark Mandell for their generous support and leadership to carry on the tradition of academic excellence in Friar Athletics.
