PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College Athletics Department will host its 51st Annual All-Sports Gala on Wednesday, April 25 at the Smith Center for Performing Arts on the College's lower campus in Providence, R.I.

The long-standing event pays tribute to more than 300 of the College's student-athletes, who make up 19 varsity athletic programs. Social hour begins at 6:30 p.m., while the speaking portion of the event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

At the event, several major awards are presented, including Male and Female Athletes of the Year for team and individual sports. Other honors include, The Jane Thompson Award, Sine Qua Non Award, Mal Brown Award, Paul Connolly Memorial Award and the Friar Cup.
