Athletic Teams GPA For The Fall 2012 Semester Topped The 3.0 Mark

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - During the Fall 2012 semester, the Providence College student-athletes posted a combined GPA of 3.05. That is a .02 increase from the Fall 2011 semester, which served as the highest fall semester GPA the student-athletes have reached in over 10 years.
The women's tennis team maintained the highest combined GPA of all 19 of the College's athletic teams with a 3.43 overall.
For the men, the swimming and diving team posted the highest combined GPA with a 3.17 for the Fall 2012 semester.
Ten of the College's 15 programs finished with a cummulative GPA of a 3.0 or above and 71 student-athletes made the Dean's list.
