The Friars concluded their series against
the University of Vermont Catamounts with a 5-1 win
Saturday night at Schneider Arena. The Friars improved to 4-3-1 overall
and 4-2-0 in Hockey East. Vermont is now 1-5-0 and 0-4-0 in league
action.
The Friars, who scored three power-play goals last night and one short-handed tally last night, recorded two more power play goals and another while short handed to earn their first ever weekend sweep over Vermont.
